The Owner’s job is to oversee all of the server’s activities, and to have the final say in all decision-making. They review staff applications and behaviour, review ban appeals, assist with tech-related issues, and ensure the server’s monthly payments are met. The Owner strives to creative a positive atmosphere for staff and players alike, and they are inclusive and open with discussions
A tech-administrator’s main responsibility is to manage server plugins, including implementing new ones and overseeing existing ones. They also perform server diagnostics, back-ups and bug-testing.
A helper’s job is to assist the owner with guidelines, server policy discussions and recordkeeping. They also help to oversee player discipline and general administration issues.
A Dev’s job is to create custom plugins for the server. They make sure these plugins are functioning properly and kept up-to-date. Devs may also assist Tech Admins with other tech-related issues.
An administrator performs all the tasks of a moderator with added responsibilities. Admins take a more proactive role in running the server, and may participate in coordinating specific new projects and events.
A moderator’s main responsibility is to monitor player behaviour in the server’s chat channels and activities. Mods are expected to be familiar with locations on the server, as well as its rules and methods of disciplinary action. As with all other members of staff, mods will greet players and foster a friendly, positive environment and answer players’ questions.
A junior moderator is in training for a full staff position. Junior mods have access limited staff commands, and their behaviour and conduct are monitored by the owner. A junior mod is expected to help monitor the chat channels, greet players, do their best to answer players’ questions, and report incidents of negative behaviour to a moderator or administrator.
